How much do your sessions cost?
Pricing varies by session type. You can find full package details and pricing on each individual service page - Newborn, Cake Smash, Maternity, Portrait, and Wedding. All packages include digital images and there are no hidden extras.
What if I want something that isn't listed on your website?
Just ask! I'm always happy to discuss something a little different. Drop me a message and we'll have a chat about what you have in mind.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes - a 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. Your date is not confirmed until both the deposit has been received and your booking contract has been signed.
When should I book?
As early as possible is always best, especially for newborn sessions where the timing window is small. For other sessions, I'd recommend booking at least 4 weeks before you need your images. For example, if your little one's birthday is 19th July, aim to book in for mid-June to allow time for editing and gallery delivery.
I'm pregnant, when should I get in touch?
Ideally after your 20-week scan once you have your due date confirmed. The newborn window is only a couple of weeks, so getting in touch early means I can pencil in your due date and confirm your session once baby arrives.
Do you photograph twins?
Yes, and I love it! Twin sessions need a little extra time to make sure both babies are comfortable and settled, so I recommend booking a Gold or Platinum newborn package. Mention you're expecting twins when you get in touch and we'll chat through everything.
Do you photograph weddings?
Yes! I'm now offering wedding photography alongside my studio sessions. Get in touch to discuss your date and what you're looking for and I'll send over more details.
When is the best time for a newborn shoot?
The ideal window is between 3 and 10 days old, when babies are still very sleepy and settle easily into poses. Sessions are still possible up to around 4 weeks, though they may look a little different. I'll always work with you to find the best timing once baby arrives.
What if baby is unsettled on the day?
Please don't worry this is completely normal and fully expected! Sessions are relaxed and baby-led, with plenty of time built in for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles. There's no rushing and no pressure. We simply go at baby's pace.
Do you do home visits for newborn shoots?
All my shoots are based out of my studio in Liverpool City Centre.
Where is your studio?
My studio is based in Liverpool city centre, approximately 20 minutes' walk from Liverpool Lime Street station. Full address and directions are provided on booking confirmation.
What should we wear?
Simple, coordinated outfits tend to photograph best. Think soft neutrals, muted tones, and complementary colours rather than matching outfits or bold patterns. Avoid large logos or busy prints as these can date quickly. I'll send full style guidance before your session so you feel completely prepared.
What should I bring?
For baby and newborn sessions, bring everything you'd normally need for a few hours out. Nappies, milk, a spare outfit, and a dummy if your baby uses one. For cake smash sessions, bring the cake, a towel and a change of clothes (things will get messy!). I'll provide everything else.
How does payment work?
Once your booking form has been returned, you'll receive an online invoice within 3 working days. This will outline your session details and include a link for online payment. The invoice will also confirm your payment due dates.
When is the full balance due?
The full balance is due one week before your session date. For weddings, the full balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, absolutely. If you'd like to spread the cost, just mention it when you get in touch and we'll agree a schedule that works for you. A deposit is required to secure your booking regardless of the plan chosen.
How long until I receive my gallery?
I aim to deliver your proof gallery within 3–6 weeks of your session. Turnaround can vary depending on the time of year. Peak seasons such as Christmas and spring tend to be busier. I'll always give you an estimated timescale at your shoot, and I'll keep you updated if anything changes.
How do I receive my images?
Your images are delivered via a private online gallery. You'll receive a link by email which allows you to browse your edited images, select your favourites, download your digital files, and order any prints or products directly. Your gallery is password protected and only accessible to you.
Can I purchase extra images beyond my package?
Yes, all packages include the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery. This can be done directly through your online gallery, usually within 48 hours of it going live.
