Hello! Welcome to Cherish Photography, my name is Cheryl and I am a mobile and studio based photographer specialising in baby and family shoots, currently covering all of Liverpool. I have lived in Liverpool my whole life and am Mummy to three lovely children. I've always had an interest in photography, but it wasn't until my second child was born that I really felt the need to take my passion further and I have never looked back.

​I started out photographing for family events, my son and then my baby girl. It was through my little girl that my love of newborn photography began to grow. I understand that the newborn phase is over before you know it, so I love being able to capture and highlight their tiny features - eyelashes, pouty lips, tiny toes - to keep for a lifetime. Newborn photos are ideal for holding on to those precious memories that fly by far too soon. 

​I also adore baby 'sitter' sessions! Whether that's capturing the moment baby first tastes that colourful sweet icing during a cute and messy cake smash session on their 1st birthday, or whether it's just as baby is starting to sit up without Mum or Dad and they are discovering the world.

​One thing I hear every family talking about, is how much they love getting out the old family photo albums. Something so simple as looking through photographs has the power to bring families/friends together with such strong emotion. To relive the moments again and again, to take a time out to really miss our loved ones who have passed, to laugh at the old clothes and hairstyles and to pledge to continue with family traditions. I couldn't think of any job more rewarding than this - to enable families and friends to hold on to these moments, and to each other, through photographs.
