Welcome to Cherish Photography! I'm Cheryl, a studio-based photographer based in Liverpool, specialising in newborn, baby, cake smash, maternity, family and wedding photography.
I've lived in Liverpool my whole life and I'm a mum to three children of my own, so I know better than most just how fast these precious early stages go. It was the birth of my second child that turned my lifelong love of photography into something more and I've never looked back.
My heart lies in newborn photography. Those tiny eyelashes, perfect pouty lips, little curled-up toes. I love nothing more than capturing those details before they're gone. The newborn stage is over so quickly, and having beautiful images to look back on makes it last just a little longer.
I also love a cake smash! There's something so joyful about watching a baby discover birthday cake for the very first time. The mess, the delight, the complete abandon of it. These sessions are as fun to shoot as they are to look back on.
As my work has grown, so has the range of moments I get to be part of. Maternity shoots celebrate one of life's most beautiful and fleeting chapters, and I'm now also honoured to photograph weddings, capturing the love, the detail, and the emotion of your most important day.
Whatever the occasion, my aim is always the same: to create images that bring you back to that moment, every time you look at them. The kind of photos you pull out at family gatherings, that make you laugh, make you cry a little, and remind you what really matters.
